What we are
The Upper Cumberland Arts Alliance (UCAA) is a 501(c)(3)
non-profit organization located in Middle Tennessee.
Our Goal
The main goal of UCAA is to encourage, promote, and facilitate the
arts of the Upper Cumberland area. The Upper Cumberland consists of
14 counties:
Cannon, Clay, Cumberland, Dekalb, Fentress, Jackson,
Macon, Overton, Pickett, Putnam, Smith, Van Buren, Warren, and
White.
UCAA
was founded in 1989 but
was last revitalized in 2005. It
is an organization that will nurture, celebrate, and assist individual artists and other art organizations.
One of our goals is to reach and enrich all the people in this
Tennessee region with the beauty and diversity of ALL art forms.

UCAA
has been invited by the historic town of
Granville,Tennessee
to become a part of their
ART & CULTURAL CENTER
located inside the newly re-opened
Sutton's General Store.
Sutton's General Store offers a glimpse into Granville's
past with hundreds of antiques as well as new merchandise,
hand dipped ice cream, and a live radio bluegrass show every
Saturday night.
UCAA is excited to be a part of this unique experience, and
invites EVERYONE to come visit. Granville is located 18
miles west of Cookeville on the Cordell Hull lake.

The ARTS
The word "ARTS" in UCAA includes: Crafts, Music, Sculpture,
Painting, Drawing, Theatre, Creative Writing, Dance, Film,
Photography, Computer Design, and the Environmental Arts.
UCAA wants to coordinate activities in selected counties, such as
quarterly art gatherings that will encourage participation in the
arts for ALL in the Upper Cumberland.
MEMBERSHIP FEE for individual artists is
$25.00 per calendar year.
With your paid
membership you will receive discounts on UCAA sponsored lectures,
classes, and workshops!!
Members also get their name, web-page and/or gallery listed on this
website. Members also get discounts on gallery purchases! Our plan
is to enrich the arts through educational workshops and will
allow people to appreciate and gain information about the arts
created and offered by
the artists of the UPPER CUMBERLAND.

GRANVILLE
ARTS AND CULTURE CENTER
GUIDELINES: |

Artist agrees to pay 30% commission to UCAA from each
item sold.

Artist can submit 4 works of art (Actual work must be
submitted. In certain cases...photos can be submitted
for large and fragile works. Forms will be provided on
site for submitting works.

Prices are set by the artist and are non-negotiable in
the gallery.

Checks will be issued at the end of each month when all
sales are paid.

UCAA is not responsible for loss or damage of any item
assigned to its care.

Works of art will be selected by a jury according to the
following criteria:
1) Hand-produced original
2) Professional quality
3) ALL works must be signed.
4) The artwork must be suitable
for public display and consistent with the UCAA gallery
mission.

Photos of ALL works of art in the gallery can be used to
promote UCAA and its goals.

Once accepted, artists are asked to submit a
biographical sketch of themselves.
