Molly Meharg
(Quilts and Gourds) I am a mixed media artist working with fibers and gourds. In 1972 I settled in middle Tennessee. I have always been involved with arts and crafts. I retired in 1995 in Smithville, Tennessee. I live on Center Hill Lake at Hummingbird Hill. In my fiber art I use: yarn, cloth, thread, buttons, beads, clay, leather, wood and wire embellishments. In my gourd art I use: slik dyeing, painting, staining, engraving, clay, hand made paper, wood beads, leather & wire. It is such a pleasure for me to be able to work each day with these materials and create my art pieces. Design is structured by my imagination.
