Brian Parker
(Pencil Drawings)

I, Brian Parker, was born and raised in Knoxville Tennessee. A real desire for art goes back many years, but it was something I never pursued. I never believed I could do it. I worked several jobs that allowed me to be on the road quite often. I considered that my hands on training. In
1996 I tried working with paints and did o.k. but it still seemed as if something was missing. In 2004 I bought a drawing pad and a basic set of pencils. I found it. Or did it find me? Pencil drawing is my specialty. I love portraits and figure drawing. I find drawing a place where I can really let go.
I reside in Sparta, Tennessee with my lovely and I must say my model for a lot of my work, Becky. She inspires me in my work. I hope my drawings are as much a joy for people to look at as they are for me to draw.
